(P724)?Digest:	The taxonomic, controlled vocabulary systematises the activities of different occupations or equivalent designations (activities, company names) in terms of their occupational specialisation, skills and competencies and classifies them into six different hierarchies (standard designation, five hierarchy levels). In addition, job-related requirement levels can be measured (no socio-economic hierarchies). The vocabulary is a German-language, national derivation of the international ISCO 08 standard and was fundamentally elaborated and methodically developed by the Federal Employment Agency as the "Classification of Occupations 2010/2020" (KldB 2010). While the KldB dynamically adapts to changing occupational landscapes, the OhdAB aims to create a stable, permanent classification system for historical occupational and official activities. It is based on the "occupational status" of the historical mass registers (church registers, address directories, tax registers, etc.) and therefore also records information (family relationships, designations for vagrants, members of organisations, etc.) that is not considered occupational information today. In contrast to the KldB 2010/20, the variants of the individual occupational titles are transparently assigned to the standard titles. This enables semi-automated matching. The vocabulary enables the detection of female and male job titles and has a larger proportion of English-language translations.
