The iDAI.gazetteer is thus the start of a large, new cross-sectional field of work.Geodata is a sufficiently negotiable but also comprehensively applicable contextualisation criterion. Its importance for contextualisation increases when, in addition to bidirectional links, three-way or multi-way links are established.Therefore, the iDAI.gazetteer is, among other things, also a contextualisation engine that allows location-based searches across multiple information systems, such as iDAI.objects and iDAI.bibliography.
