It is used for the indexing of bibliographical references in the FRANCIS database ‘History and Religious Studies’ (1972 to 2015, http://pascal-francis.inist.fr/). It contains numerous religious studies and theological terms and designations for religious movements and practices. In part (very incompletely), it also contains persons and buildings of religious character. The focus of the collection is on ecclesiastical practices of the Catholic Church. The vocabulary also contains some Spanish terminology. It was transferred from the Service Loterre, a platform for multidisciplinary scientific terminology, to an API-capable SKOS instance, where it can be accessed in a variety of formats.
