(P724)?Digest:The Sentiment Vocabulary, or SentiWS for short, is a publicly available German-language resource for digital humanities methods such as sentiment analysis, opinion mining and others. The vocabulary contains verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs that have been assigned a positive or negative polarity in the interval [-1; 1]. At the same time, the part of speech and (if applicable) inflectional variants are assigned. The vocabulary was published in three versions. The current version of SentiWS contains approximately 1,650 positive and 1,800 negative base forms. Including the various inflected forms, there are about 16,000 positive and 18,000 negative word forms. The vocabulary, which was created by researchers at the Institute for Applied Computer Sciences at the University of Leipzig and made available in the vocabulary portal, can be freely used for research purposes in a number of ways.
