(P724)?Digest:	Every person in the SSRQ database of historical persons and organizations belongs to a family (organization). The surnames are normalized under the form commonly used today according to the HLS, the Family Name Book of Switzerland or the HBLS. Each person is included in the database with all the information (surname with name attribute, first name; title; surname/nickname; profession/office/function/role; place of origin/place of residence or activity; relationships) that appears in the source text. No third-party information that does not appear in the text is recorded. Each person should have a meaningful date, be it for an occupation, office, function or role, for the place of residence/origin or in the “First mention” field. Several people with the same surname are listed in alphabetical order by first name in the family view. Persons with the same name follow the chronology of their appearance in the sources. Wives are generally listed under their husband's name and, if known, also under their father's name. Bishops and abbots are not only listed under their family name, but also under the corresponding diocese or monastery convent. Saints and persons whose surname is missing are listed by their first name. Saints and biblical figures are included under org999999 (=saints and biblical figures); persons without a surname are included under org000000 (=NN). NN (non nominant, substitute letter for an unknown name) is used to designate missing first names or surnames.
