El patrimonio cultural producido por el hombre y las civilizaciones en las que se ha desarrollado se compone de multitud de objetos y manifestaciones tan diversos en el tiempo, el tema y el espacio como la propia historia de la humanidad. Por tanto, su naturaleza y descripción sólo pueden explicarse en el contexto histórico y cultural en el que fueron creados. Su clasificación resulta muy compleja y requiere criterios racionales y homogéneos que permitan situarlos en un contexto temporal y espacial concreto y comprender las condiciones históricas que los hicieron posibles. |
