The basis for this is provided by Antonio Ubieto Arteta's lists of bishops, “Listas episcopales medievales”, whose entries are sometimes supplemented or corrected with information from other given literature titles. The data collection was created in collaboration with the DFG project “Delegated Jurisdiction on the Iberian Peninsula” and will be expanded as the project progresses. To this end, the 846 entries to date will be linked to GSN, GND numbers, Wikidata and VIAF identifiers as far as possible, although this has rarely been possible to date. All data from the “Medieval and Early Modern Knowledge Aggregator” can be downloaded and used as linked open data in various formats (csv, rdf-xml, json, json-ld) in full or in part. You will receive a persistent identifier via the project.
